Southwest Houston City Council Service Projects

Reining Strength Therapeutic Horsemanship

Southwest Houston City Council members presented Reining Strength Therapeutic Horsemanship with a check from the funds raised during our "Fall in Love with BSP" Fall Event Service Project.

Pink Pennies From Heaven

Southwest Houston City Council members donated pennies in honor of those we have lost to cancer and also to those who are cancer survivors.  Members presented Sugar Land Methodist Cancer Center with a check from the funds raised during our "Pretty in Pink" Fall event.

Breakfast at Tiffany's

Southwest Houston City Council members presented Fort Bend Women’s Shelter with a check from the funds raised during our Breakfast at Tiffany’s Service Project. We learned after the presentation was made that Fort Bend Women’s Shelter had an anonymous donor who just happened to be matching funds during the timeperiod when our donation was made. So our amount was doubled.  Way to go Southwest Houston City Council Members.

Southwest Houston Chapter Service Projects

Alpha Delta Theta Chapter

A holiday time service project for Alpha Delta Theta was sleeving poinsettias at The Brookwood Community.  Many hours were spent getting the plants to look just right for distribution.

Xi Alpha Epsilon Omega

Xi Alpha Epsilon Omega Chapter

realized the Best Place for us to be when it came to doing a Service Project was right here in our own community, Katy Texas. After some research we chose Clothed by Faith. The organization is connected with many agencies that distribute clothing and shoes to those in need. They were very organized as we sorted mounds of clothing and even made it fun! We worked for two solid hours and left feeling blessed for the opportunity to serve others.

Xi Alpha Zeta Chapter

Xi Alpha Zeta Chapter Service Project was the East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry.  Twelve sisters attended their Empty Bowls Project where each painted a bowl to be auctioned off at the Ministry's Fundraiser.  A donation was also made to their Food Pantry.
